
Linda Shirkey, Founder and President
Ms. Shirkey founded The Advisor’s Resource, Inc. (“TARI”), formally known as Shirkey Consulting, in 1994. A former institutional stock broker covering money managers and major
corporations, Ms. Shirkey was with Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., for ten years. Prior to her position with Charles Schwab, Ms. Shirkey worked in banking and legal services in product
development, marketing and corporate finance. She is often invited to speak as an expert in applying compliance requirements effectively and efficiently.
Ms. Shirkey graduated magna cum
laude from Case Western Reserve University. She currently serves on the
Board of Directors of Texas Wall Street Women, a non-profit
organization.
Monica Blanco, Customer Service Team Leader
Ms. Blanco specializes in working with new and established hedge funds. She has a background in human resources, data analysis, finance and operations with major corporations. Ms. Blanco graduated
from the University of Missouri at St. Louis with her MBA in 2004. While there, she also obtained a Graduate Certificate in Human Resources. Ms. Blanco completed her B.A.
at Rice University in 1996. In June 2011, she became certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR). She is a member of World at Work Society and the Society for Human Resources Management.
Jan Huff, Customer Service Team Leader
Ms. Huff oversees the production, customization and updating of policies and procedures manuals for SEC and state registered advisors. She specialized in overseeing and
delivering top-quality financial products to clients, while working closely with the TARI team members. Prior to the Advisor’s Resource, she worked with Ernst & Young for 13 years, overseeing the
production quality of client and internal documents. While employed with Ernst & Young she spent five years supervising a team of 17 employees in the Word Processing, Proofreading and Graphics
departments. Ms. Huff graduated from Jackson College of Ministries in 1984 with a degree in Christian Education.
Krista Bednorz, Customer Service and Accounting
Ms. Bednorz is responsible for general accounting, invoicing and collections, as well as client proposals and contract
maintenance. She has previously worked at several corporations in General Accounting and Financial Analysis. Ms. Bednorz holds a BBA in Finance from Stephen F. Austin State University.
